Is bathing a luxury?

Is bathing a luxury? Yes, for many homeless Indians bathing is a luxury. These people are the smelly part of India which is forgotten by the rest. They do not even feel alive and no one is there to make them feel alive. They are also human beings and they deserve to be treated as one.
The Forgotten people of India are those people who don’t have any kind of shelter, nothing to eat, no one to talk to. What do you do when you pass by these people? Ignore them, Cover your face as they smell very bad, throw some coins, give some old clothes or just leave them as they are “Achoot”.
These days there is Election talk all over India. Every Party has a list of things to do for the development of India. I think the list is incomplete if it does not include the betterment of forgotten/Achoot/Smelly people of India. No one can clean a country without cleaning the homeless people.
Couple of day’s back I came across a video about a Man of Forgotten Mr. Naryanan Krishnan. He was working at Taj Hotel in Bangalore and He could not tolerate the bad situation of poor homeless people in his hometown. He decided to quit his job and help out forgotten people in his hometown. He prepares food for them, bath them, shave them and even cut their hairs. He says that” Food gives them physical nutrients and Love gives them mental nutrients”. The video given below touched my heart and opened my eyes about joy of giving. The man in this video is not just helping but he is caring.

When I started thinking about the smelly people for writing a post for Racold water heater contest with indiblogger, Then this smelly but sad part of India came into my mind. The man in this video is a real hero and my this post is grand salute for him.
This post is for the people for whom bathing is a luxury and a hero for those smelly people.
